Title: The Perfect Meeting

Blog Entry:   One of the most commonly asked questions of single daters is, "so, what would be your idea of the perfect first date?". When reading the profiles posted online it occured to me that most of the daters were describing a first date that was what they thought the potential male or female reading the profile would consider the "perfect first date".    As a writer, I can tell you that when you are writing for others, about yourself, it is very important to be honest! Telling stories about what you consider a good time with a "virtual stranger (lol)" is on par with lying about your age, weight, or profession, and will be even more transparent!!   When composing your date scenario a good rule to follow is to think about a previous date that you had that went really well. A neutral territory is a must, so choose a town or location in which neither of you have spent much time. A huge "no-no" on this first go around is to discuss your past relationships unless both parties express a desire to do so!! Another important consideration is your attire; comfort is a huge factor in feeling good in your own skin, and everyone knows confidence is a huge turn on! Also, no matter how nervous you might be, do not over-drink. Not only might you come across as a lush, but you won't remember if the date was worthwhile, or not.  As a rule, keep the encounter short and sweet. You don't have to touch on every subject under the sun. Above all, be yourself.   A true love connection will love you for just that! ~XO Wendi   Ok, so now let's hear your "first date" tales! Good or bad, share!!
